And if the roof is worth saving
GoNano is a penetrant, not a paint. Its nanoparticles bond to the aggregate and the bitumen and shield the shingle from UV, so the binder keeps its oils and the granules stay put. What it does to your shingles
The nanoparticles bond to the aggregate and the bitumen in your shingles and shield them from UV, slowing the molecular aging that turns an asphalt shingle brittle.
In independent testing, treated shingles reached UL 2218 Class 4, the highest impact-resistance class a shingle can earn.
Granule loss is the first stage of shingle failure. The treatment locks granules down so the mat underneath stays covered.
A breathable hydrophobic barrier keeps water out of the shingle, which is what drives freeze-thaw damage through a Utah winter.
